5 Week Meditation & Writing Program for Cancer Carers
A quiet space to exhale, process, and come back to yourself.
Caring for someone with cancer can be one of the most emotionally demanding experiences of a lifetime. Carers often hold everything together - appointments, emotions, logistics, work, household, advocating for the patient, while quietly carrying their own fear, grief, stress, and exhaustion. This program offers a gentle place just for you.
Across five weeks, we come together in a calm, supportive space to explore your inner world through guided meditation, expressive writing, and grounded conversation. You don’t need any experience with writing or meditation, simply a willingness to pause and check in with yourself.
Each week builds on themes that carers often don’t get time to acknowledge: arriving with kindness, understanding emotional overload, navigating grief and gratitude, reconnecting with meaning, rediscovering small moments of joy, and honouring your role in this chapter of life. The pace is spacious so you can integrate, reflect, and soften the load you’ve been carrying.
This is not a clinical support group. It’s a compassionate environment where you don’t have to be “strong,” “positive,” or “the one holding it all together.” Here, you can speak honestly, rest, and explore what this experience has meant for you, without judgement or pressure.
You’ll be guided by Tanya, a cancer survivor and meditation practitioner who understands the emotional terrain surrounding cancer from both sides of the story. Her approach is warm, steady, grounded in real lived experience and supported by evidence based approaches.
If you’re looking for space to breathe, to feel seen, and to gently reconnect with your own wellbeing, this program is for you.
